Adam Sandler won't work less than $15 million per film

Born on 9 September, 1966, Adam Sandler is a well known face and appears in the list of 10 most expensive actors in Hollywood is a famous face in movies relating to Gen-X but is he worth it? He is the 10th most highly paid actor and demands more money each film he plays in. According to a report by Forbes, it is estimated that he made 31 million dollars in the year 2009.
He was born with a way with humour and started his career by performing in comedy clubs. He once said that only after an eye surgery he realized that he was an ugly guy. Spotted for his witty liners, he was offered to write the script for the famous show Saturday Night Live where he soon started playing and performing. His first movie in 1989, Going Overboard, made him quit his career as a television and live show artist and soon made him the 10th highest paid actor in the list of 10 most expensive actors in Hollywood.

His super entertaining movie- Billy Madison in 1995, led to him doing many other financially successful comedies like Happy Gilmore. But the critics had not yet given him credit for his acting prowess in order to rate him to be a fine actor. He began to receive praise from the critics in the 2000s. They attributed his early failure to impress upon his acting skills to poor scripts and loose characters. Since then he ventured into the genre of drama and family oriented films with Reign Over Me in 2007 and Bedtime Stories in 2008. But he very cleverly used his popularity as a comedy actor in movies to propel his successful career and soon entered the list of the 10 most expensive actors in Hollywood.

His achievements have limited to having 35 films in his bag making him a huge millionaire. He has also produced and written scripts for various plays and movies. His production company’s name Happy Madison comes from two of his movies- Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison. His is also famous for composing soundtracks. He was also nominated for the Emmy awards in the category ‘Outstanding Individual Achievement’. He won the ‘Blockbuster Entertainment Award’ for the Waterboy, Big Daddy and The Wedding Singer. He also won the People’s Choice Award for being the most popular male comedy actor which obviously justifies his popularity and his position among the 10 most expensive actors in Hollywood.

Does Adam Sandler have an answer to expensive actors? Not a bit concerned at all just pay him more regardless if people are out of work.
