Nicolas Cage is one of the 10 most expensive actors in the Hollywood, drawing an average of $38 million per film. He stands in the 8th position of all the 10 most expensive actors in the Hollywood as confirmed by the Forbes Magazine new list of highly paid actors in the Hollywood. Nicolas Cage has acted in over 60 films since the year 1980. Leaving Las Vegas is the film he earned the most. Not only he earned the most in this film but also he was given an academy award as best actor for his role in this film.
Nicolas Cage, a famous Hollywood actor and also a producer was born on 7th January 1964 in Long Beach, California. His early name was Nicholas Coppola. After he appeared into the film industry, he changed his name to Nicholas Cage. He started his film career in the year 1980 and acted in more than 60 films of which he was nominated as the best actor for the 3 famous films namely Vampire’s kiss released in the year 1989, Leaving Las Vegas in the year 1995 and Adaptation in the year 2002. The other famous films he acted are Face/Off released in the year 1997, National Treasure in the year 2004 and Ghost Rider in the year 2007. Most of his films achieved complete financial success due to his action and adventurous roles. His adventurous roles has not only made him a famous actor but also made him one of the 10 most expensive actors in the Hollywood, thus earning a whooping $38 million on an average per film.

He named his house as “The LaLaurie House” which was foreclosed, auctioned and sold on 12th Nov 2009 along with his other property in the New Orleans for a total cost of $5.5 million due to financial crisis. Nicolas Cage has an outstanding of over $350,000 unpaid taxes from the year 2002 to the year 2004. In the year 2007, he failed to pay an outstanding of over $6.2 million in taxes.
